PENDAHULUAN
Apilkasi yang sukses dalam system proteksi katodik membutuhkan tenaga kerja, peralatan & sumber daya. Pengetahuan & pengalaman sangat penting untuk mendapatkan hasil yang diinginkan di lapangan. Pelatihan ini akan membekali peserta mengenai pengetahuan praktis dalam menangani korosi khususnya penyebab external.
Aplikasinya dalam perminyakan akan lebih luas lagi yaitu pada tangki minyak, instalasi pipa & instalasi lainnya. Sedangkan aplikasi dalam manufactur & pertambangan dapat berupa perlindungan terhadap struktur baja, hopper (steel silo) dll, dan pendukung (tangki minyak bahan bakar, dermaga, kapal pengangkut, pipa air & minyak).
Pelatihan ini akan membekali peserta mengenai pengetahuan praktis dalam menangani korosi khususnya penyebab external., bagaimana memilih dan menerapkan cat dan pelapis untuk layanan atmosfer, pembungkus bahan untuk layanan bawah tanah dan bawah air, teknik khusus dan bahan untuk zona laut dan splash lingkungan korosif, dan pendekatan praktis yang sederhana untuk merancang dan menerapkan proteksi katodik untuk aplikasi daratan dan lepas pantai.
